Strategy
Due to our belief in competitive production of electronics and electronics systems in a local-for-local concept AME has defined an ‘Operational Excellence’-strategy to ensure this competitiveness on the long term. The fundament of this strategy is based upon the following four elements which enable excellent operational performance; the processes, the workforce, the technology and the supporting information systems.
The first and primary element of the strategy is the process design (production and logistics); the efficient supporting logistic processes and the design of the production process in a linked flow (flow production). The main advantage is the fast quality feedback which fits our striven to produce ‘zero-defect’.
The second element is the workforce. Eventually they bring the strategy into daily practice. Being critical, keen on quality and striven for success are key elements of our employees.
The third element is technology. Due to constant investments in production technology and production knowledge, an efficient production process with a high yield is established. AME has a natural drive to challenge her resources and people in the field of innovation and productivity improvements.
The fourth element is the striven to completely automate processes by constantly further develop (supporting) information systems. A high level of automation is a condition to maintain the high quality level.
